The PTA supports students and teachers by providing financial support for educational resources, field trips, cultural activities, and teacher grants.  We also organize events throughout the year to recognize Louise Archer’s faculty and staff.  Our parent volunteers foster Louise Archer’s strong sense of community through coordination of the school yearbook, student newspaper, Walking Wednesdays, STEAM Fair, International Night, and much more!

Help Celebrate LAES Class of 2025 by supporting our Fundraiser with Vienna Vintner for the Month of April!

The LAES PTA is partnering with Vienna Vintner (320 E Maple Ave) this April for an exciting month-long fundraiser to benefit the 6th grade celebration! For every purchase that mentions Louise Archer or LAES or Louise Archer Elementary PTA (any form will do!), a portion of the sale will be donated to the PTA’s 6th grade celebration and gift. Anyone who makes a purchase and mentions Louise Archer can participate. This includes for their Easter Tasting April 19th 12-5pm. Please support this wonderful local business and our 6th graders by spreading the word!

Come join your friends at the LAES SUMMER SPORTS CAMPS for a lot of FUN!  Your favorite PE teachers will lead these camps: Coaches Licari & Worsham with the Sports & Games for Kids, LLC staff.

There are three sessions: 

Session 1: 2 days, June 18 and 20^th (no camp on June 19^th)  9am to 3pm
Session 2: 5 days, June 23^rd to 27^th    9am to 2pm
Session 3: 5 days, August 4^th to 8^th  9am to 2pm

Registration is now open on Homeroom and will stay open until each session starts.                

Note: CAMP WILL BE HELD AT LOUISE ARCHER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.

Faculty Volleyball Game vs Wolftrap Elementary: Thursday April 3rd 6:00pmJames Madison High SchoolCome cheer on your favorite Louise Archer faculty as they take on the staff of Wolftrap Elementary in our annual Epic Volleyball Battle! The game will take place in the gym at JMHS 4/3 at 6:30pm, doors open at 6:00pm. Last year Wolftrap came out on top, but we are confident that together with our strong team and enthusiastic supporters we will pull off a WIN. Admission is free for everyone! 

We will be selling Louise Archer spirit items as well as concessions to include whole pizzas (not by slice), candy, chips and water. Pizza is available for pre-order on the PTA website. 

We need volunteers to help with set up, concession sales and clean up. Mature high school students looking for volunteer hours are welcome. Check out the SUG to sign up: Louise Archer VS Wolftrap Faculty Volleyball Game. 

We will be collecting donations for our food pantry, donations can be dropped off directly at the school or during the game. We are in need of the following items: 

-Dry beans

-Cereal and Shelf-stable milk

-Rice

-Canned tuna and chicken

-Pasta and pasta sauce

-Cooking oil

-Maseca flour

*we do not need any canned vegetables*

Registration is open for the LA 5K and 1 mile kids’ Sun Run. The events will be held on Sunday, April 27th @ 8:00 AM.

T-SHIRT CONTEST! Do you have a budding artist in your home who loves LAES? All LAES students are invited to submit a design for the front of the Louise Archer 5K and Sun Run race t-shirt, which will be worn around town by hundreds of people. The 5K will be on Sunday, April 27th! 

Your design should be drawn on plain, white paper in black ink with the child’s name and grade on the back. Take a picture, or scan, your design and send it to la5k@louisearcherpta.org by NOON on Sunday, March 23rd. 

Please join us for Pizza Bingo on Friday, March 14th. Pizza will be available for sale (cash or credit card) in the cafeteria starting at 5:30pm and bingo in the gym will be from 6:15-7:15pm. NEW for this year! Pre-order your pizza and skip the line!

Pre-order your bundlets from Feb. 24th – March 12th. Pick up your order Friday, March 14th at Pizza Bingo night. Teachers’ bundlets will be delivered to school before the end of the school day on March 14th. There are 6 choices this year: Confetti, Red Velvet, Oreo, Chocolate Chocolate Chip or Lemon and Gluten-free Chocolate Chip Cookie all for $7.
