Event Schedule

• 5:30 PM: Pizza service begins in the Cafeteria.
• 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM: Bingo in the Gym with Mrs. Skousen!
• Note: A limited number of pizzas will be available for walk-in sale (cash/credit) at 5:30 PM, but these are first-come, first-served while supplies last.

Please bring a blanket or cushion for your family to sit on in the gym. Remember to bring cash for bingo cards and extra drinks!

Nothing Bundt Cake Fundraising

Eat Cake and Help the PTA at the same time!

We are selling Nothing Bundt Cakes Bundtlets that can be enjoyed after eating pizza or taken home to be savored with all of your Bingo winnings. The cost is $7 per Bundtlet. The favors are Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Lemon, Confetti, Red Velvet, White Chocolate Raspberry or Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookie. Pickup will be in the lobby as you enter for Pizza Bingo. Dust off your running shoes and mark your calendars for one of our most exciting PTA events of the year — the Louise Archer 5K and Sun Run! This family-friendly race brings together students, parents, teachers, and neighbors for a morning of fitness, fun, and school spirit.

• Sun Run (1K Fun Run): Starts at 8:00 AM
• 5K Run/Walk: Starts at 8:30 AM

The Louise Archer Yearbook Committee invites all students to participate in this year’s Cover Art Contest! 

Each student may submit one original artwork that reflects our school theme, “Together We Shine Bright.”

Tips for Artists:

• One entry per student
• Artwork must creatively include the theme: Together We Shine Bright
• Use bright, bold colors
• Paper size: 8.5×11″ in portrait orientation (cardstock recommended)

Let’s celebrate our shining students and their creativity!🌟

Join us for Sun Day, a national day of action to celebrate all things solar and renewable energy! Come celebrate the groundbreaking of the FCPS solar initiative, which includes 35 approved schools like Louise Archer, and the delivery of 17 new electric school buses for FCPS!

• When: 10am – 12pm, September 21, Sunday
• Where: Louise Archer Elementary

One of the district’s brand-new electric school buses will be on site for tours, with two drivers on hand to answer questions and even “pop the hood.” You’ll hear from special guests like FCPS Superintendent Dr. Reid, School Board member Karl Frisch, Delegate Holly Seibold, and FCPS students who have advocated for sustainability in our schools.

Last but not least, enjoy free snow cones powered by the electric school bus, live family-friendly music by Ratz in Paradise (former Louise Archer students!), and check out model solar cars built by FCPS students!

The first quarterly Louise Archer PTA meeting for the 2025-2026 school year will be held on Wednesday, August 27^th at 7:00 PM.  Please join us via Zoom to learn more about the PTA and our planned activities and budget for the school year.  We also will vote on our slate of 2025-2026 officers.

The PTA supports students and teachers by providing financial support for educational resources, field trips, cultural activities, and teacher grants.  We also organize events throughout the year to recognize Louise Archer’s faculty and staff.  Our parent volunteers foster Louise Archer’s strong sense of community through coordination of the school yearbook, student newspaper, Walking Wednesdays, STEAM Fair, International Night, and much more!

Help Celebrate LAES Class of 2025 by supporting our Fundraiser with Vienna Vintner for the Month of April!

The LAES PTA is partnering with Vienna Vintner (320 E Maple Ave) this April for an exciting month-long fundraiser to benefit the 6th grade celebration! For every purchase that mentions Louise Archer or LAES or Louise Archer Elementary PTA (any form will do!), a portion of the sale will be donated to the PTA’s 6th grade celebration and gift. Anyone who makes a purchase and mentions Louise Archer can participate. This includes for their Easter Tasting April 19th 12-5pm. Please support this wonderful local business and our 6th graders by spreading the word!
