Do you want to do an experiment or research a STEAM topic and share the results with your classmates? Sign up to display a project at the Louise Archer STEAM extravaganza. 

What is the STEAM extravaganza? 

This event is a PTA sponsored extracurricular activity to celebrate STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math). The event is similar to a traditional science fair but projects aren’t limited to experiments and can be about any STEAM topic. 

No project? No problem, all are welcome! Even if you don’t create a project, you are still welcome to attend to check out the displays and do other activities including:

• Madison Robotics Club Demonstration 
• Mathnasium Prize Wheel
• Other hands on STEAM activities

We are excited to announce that we are again partnering with Original Works art-based fundraising! Through the program, students created artwork that you can have reproduced onto a variety of keepsake products. The products range from magnets to mugs and start at under $8.  A portion of proceeds from the program will be used for PTA programs.

Complete details on the program including a custom order form with your child’s unique Access Code will be sent home this week.  To search for your child’s artwork and order online, please input your child’s “Access Code” or select “Search Artwork” on the website at https://store.originalworks.com/gallery/.

The LAES PTA will be hosting one week of Chess Camp and three weeks of Sports Camp this summer!

Chess Camp, offered by Atlantic Chess Association, will take place 6/22 to 6/26 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in our cafeteria. Students will be organized into groups based on skill level to receive tailored instruction.

Sports Camp will be run by our very own Coach Worsham alongside Sports & Games for Kids, LLC staff from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in our gym during the following weeks.

Session 1: 6/22-6/26
Session 2: 7/27-7/31
Session 3: 8/3-8/7

Registration is now open for all weeks on Homeroom and will stay open until the start of each session.

International Night is Friday, May 1st, 2026. If you would like to host a booth to present a country, culture, and traditions, please send an email to internationalnight@louisearcherpta.org.

Picture Day Update: Due to Monday’s early release, Picture day is being postponed.

Join us for a night of fun and prizes at Pizza Bingo on Friday, March 13th, 2026! 

To ensure your family has a meal and to skip the long lines, please pre-order through our online store. Pre-ordering is the only way to guarantee a pizza!

Orders close Thursday, March 12th at 9:00 AM.

• Whole Pizza (Cheese or Pepperoni): $15

• Family Pack (Pizza + 4 Drinks): $22 (Images in store are for reference only; actual brands may vary.)

Event Schedule

• 5:30 PM: Pizza service begins in the Cafeteria.
• 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM: Bingo in the Gym with Mrs. Skousen!
• Note: A limited number of pizzas will be available for walk-in sale (cash/credit) at 5:30 PM, but these are first-come, first-served while supplies last.

Please bring a blanket or cushion for your family to sit on in the gym. Remember to bring cash for bingo cards and extra drinks!

Nothing Bundt Cake Fundraising

Eat Cake and Help the PTA at the same time!

We are selling Nothing Bundt Cakes Bundtlets that can be enjoyed after eating pizza or taken home to be savored with all of your Bingo winnings. The cost is $7 per Bundtlet. The favors are Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Lemon, Confetti, Red Velvet, White Chocolate Raspberry or Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookie. Pickup will be in the lobby as you enter for Pizza Bingo. Dust off your running shoes and mark your calendars for one of our most exciting PTA events of the year — the Louise Archer 5K and Sun Run! This family-friendly race brings together students, parents, teachers, and neighbors for a morning of fitness, fun, and school spirit.

• Event Date: Sunday, April 12, 2026
• Sun Run (1K Fun Run): Starts at 8:00 AM
• 5K Run/Walk: Starts at 8:30 AM

Skate Night is almost here! Bring your family & friends for some icy fun.

Theme: Together We Shine Bright🌞

The Louise Archer Yearbook Committee invites all students to participate in this year’s Cover Art Contest! 

Each student may submit one original artwork that reflects our school theme, “Together We Shine Bright.”

🗓️ Submission Deadline: Friday, December 5

Tips for Artists:

• One entry per student
• Artwork must creatively include the theme: Together We Shine Bright
• Use bright, bold colors
• Paper size: 8.5×11″ in portrait orientation (cardstock recommended)
• Digital art is permitted and must meet the following resolution requirements:
  - Line Art: 500 DPI
  - Color: 300 DPI (CMYK color)
